LET’S SERVE AT WAY TO BATTLE!
Our Service Opportunity for March is Way to Battle. We will meet from 9:30-11:00 on March 29th. The address is 10 E. Waterloo St., Unit B; Canal Winchester.
Way to Battle is a non-profit organization that was founded by the Martin family when 9-year old Brady was diagnosed with High-Risk Pre B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in June 2021. His was only the 65th case documented in the world with this specific mutation. During Brady’s countless doctor and hospital visits he would take stuffed animals (dogs) with him to hand out to others that might need some comfort. They call them “Battle Pups” and hand them out all over the world to give kids something tangible to have during the hard times. Their dream and prayer is to bring love and hope to children, siblings, and families facing a challenging, life-changing circumstance.
Way to Battle has provided over 20,000 pups to schools in North Carolina impacted by the hurricane, sent 1,500 to Los Angeles in the wake of the fires that destroyed so many communities, filled individual nominations, and has started providing classroom kits for teachers.
